Resolution approving the First Amendment to a Land Exchange Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the District Board of Trustees of Miami-Dade College. The County conveys 48,456 square feet of land (County Parcel, portion of Folio No. 01-3135-061-0010, located at 1851 NW 9th Avenue, Miami, operated by the Public Health Trust) to the College, in exchange for the College conveying 48,102 square feet of land (College Parcel, portion of Folio No. 01-3135-106-0010, located at 1000 NW 20th Street, owned by the College) to the County for use by the Public Health Trust for parking to support its Emergency Department Expansion Project at the Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus. The amendment removes the closing condition requiring the Public Health Trust to obtain a No Further Action Letter from DERM, modifies the environmental remediation provision, modifies the closing date definition, defines the effective date of the First Amendment, and adds a post-closing cooperation obligation.
