Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-641-26, approving Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to a professional services agreement with Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. This agreement increases the contract value for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services for The Underline Phase 3 – Segments 3 to 9 by $2,252,721.83, bringing the total contract value to $8,252,721.83. The contract term is extended by 270 non-compensable calendar days, for a total of 1,654 non-compensable calendar days. The increase is necessary to support expanded scope and extended construction schedules due to community-driven enhancements, technical refinements, and additional construction duration, including enhanced quality assurance, increased inspection for new elements like Wi-Fi, and extended oversight due to schedule impacts. The original CEI contract was approved on April 4, 2023, for a 7.36-mile multimodal corridor.
