CITY OF HOMESTEAD LICENSE AGREEMENT

Resolution approving a license agreement between Miami-Dade County and the City of Homestead for use of the parking lot at Harris Field Park, 1034 N.E. 8 Street, Homestead, Florida, for the temporary placement and operation of a mobile spay/neuter clinic by the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department for $1.00 per year. The license term is one year with two one-year renewal options at the City's option. The resolution was adopted on 7/21/2026. The property is in County Commission District 8. The City is responsible for utility costs. The mobile clinic will be open to the public three times per week. The agreement was previously approved by the City Council via Resolution No. R2026-05-98. The County has no record of negative performance issues with the City of Homestead. Mr. Jacob Achinah, Assistant Director of the Animal Services Department, will monitor the agreement.
