Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The estimated initial cost for multipurpose maintenance is $79,437.60, and for street lighting is $125,783.92 for the first year, with subsequent years having different estimated costs. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, requested the district. The ordinance was adopted on first reading on July 21, 2026, and a public hearing is scheduled for September 1, 2026. The district is intended to provide ongoing services after development is complete. Florida Power and Light (FPL) will be involved in the street lighting installation and maintenance.
