Resolution approved by the Board of County Commissioners on 7/21/2026, authorizing the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County to issue multifamily housing revenue debt obligations not exceeding $32,680,000.00 for the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Colony Lakes multifamily housing rental project, located on an approximately 15 acre site at 1500 East Mowry Drive, Homestead, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project will preserve or provide approximately 220 units of rental housing for low, moderate, or middle income persons or families, owned by Colony Lakes Housing, L.P., a New York limited partnership. The public hearing held by the Authority on 6/17/2026 disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Series 2026 Bonds are expected to be issued by September of 2026.
