The Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County adopted Resolution R-666-26 (File Number 261173) on July 21, 2026, approving the issuance of multifamily housing revenue debt obligations by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County in an amount not to exceed $20,000,000.00. The proceeds will be loaned to Liberty Renaissance Apartments LLC to finance a portion of the costs of the development of a multifamily housing rental project known as Liberty Renaissance, located on an approximately 1.91 acre site at 1305-1361 NW 61 Street and 1320-1370 NW 61 Street, Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project will preserve or provide approximately 98 units of rental housing to be occupied by elderly persons or families of low, moderate or middle income. The resolution was introduced on June 25, 2026, and the final action was adoption on July 21, 2026. The public hearing was held by the Authority on June 17, 2026, and disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Series 2026 Bonds are expected to be issued by October of 2026.
