Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-651-26 (File Number 260871) on 7/21/2026, authorizing establishment of Prequalification Pool No. EVN0025344 for Hydraulic Parts, Supplies, and Repair Services, with a total allocation of $31,400,591.00 for an eight-year term for multiple County departments. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to exercise all provisions of the solicitation documents and any resulting contracts, add vendors to the pool at any time subject to bi-annual Board ratification, and award contracts under the pool exceeding $5,000,000.00 (or $1,500,000.00 for Miami-Dade Aviation Department) subject to Board ratification. The current pool has an allocation of $16,171,638 for an eight-year and three-month term and expires on October 31, 2026. Department allocations: Aviation $1,245,000; Corrections and Rehabilitation $35,000; Fire Rescue $500,000; Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces $630,000; People and Internal Operations $7,900,000; PortMiami $522,500; Solid Waste Management $50,000; DTPW $10,944,000; Water and Sewer $9,574,091. The scope is countywide. A Request to Qualify was issued on November 14, 2025, and by the closing date of December 12, 2025, the County received 12 submittals, including eight from local firms. The pool will remain open to allow additional vendors to be added during the term. The DTPW allocation increased due to expanded operational demands, including the planned opening of the South Dade Transit Operations Center in November 2026. The increased allocation reflects higher demand, inflationary adjustments, and the need to replace or refurbish aging County parts. The allocation also includes anticipated usage from prior consolidation of items from Prequalification Pool No. RTQ-00095 and FB-00399. Due diligence was conducted with no adverse findings. The two percent User Access Program applies where permitted by funding source. Small Business Enterprise measures and Local Preference will be applied at time of spot market competition where permitted by funding source. The Living Wage Ordinance does not apply.
