Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-651-26 (File Number 260871) on 7/21/2026, authorizing establishment of Prequalification Pool No. EVN0025344 for Hydraulic Parts, Supplies, and Repair Services, in the amount of $31,400,591.00 for an eight-year term for multiple County departments. The pool replaces Prequalification Pool No. RTQ-00580. The pool is structured into two groups: Group 1, Hydraulic Parts and Supplies; and Group 2, Hydraulic Repair Services. Seven vendors are recommended for inclusion: B&G Auto Parts Warehouse, Inc., GHX Industrial, LLC, Hydraulic Sales & Service, Inc., Jobbers Equipment Warehouse, Inc., Lamf Import & Export Corp. (SBE), Midwest Motor Supply Co., and Supply Solutions Intl., Corp. (SBE). Vendors not prequalified: Kato Tools, LLC, Kaye Industrial Group, LLC, Motion Industries, Inc., Performance Diesel Expert, and Truckpro Holding Corporation. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to exercise all provisions of the solicitation documents and any resulting contracts, add vendors to the pool at any time subject to bi-annual Board ratification, and any contract award exceeding $5,000,000, or $1,500,000 for Miami-Dade Aviation Department, requires Board ratification. The Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation on 6/10/2026. The item was introduced on 5/14/2026. The fiscal impact for the eight-year term is $31,400,591. Department allocations: Aviation $1,245,000; Corrections and Rehabilitation $35,000; Fire Rescue $500,000; Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces $630,000; People and Internal Operations $7,900,000; PortMiami $522,500; Solid Waste Management $50,000; DTPW $10,944,000; Water and Sewer $9,574,091. The scope is countywide. The current pool has an allocation of $16,171,638 and expires on October 31, 2026. A Request to Qualify was issued on November 14, 2025, and by the closing date of December 12, 2025, the County received 12 submittals, including eight from local firms. The pool will remain open to allow additional vendors to be added. The DTPW allocation increased due to expanded operational demands, including the planned opening of the South Dade Transit Operations Center in November 2026. The Living Wage Ordinance does not apply. The two percent User Access Program applies where permitted by funding source. Small Business Enterprise measures and Local Preference will be applied at time of spot market competition where permitted by funding source.
