The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-693-26, File Number 261327, approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for the Ludlam Trail Development Project, Contract No. 403502-16-001, Project No. A23PR03, in an amount not to exceed $9,533,563.00, inclusive of a contingency allowance of $843,960.00, for a term of 1,825 calendar days. The project will transform a 5.6-mile segment of the former Florida East Coast Railroad into a continuous, publicly accessible shared-use trail. The project will obtain ENVISION Silver certification. Funding sources include Road Impact Fee and SOB 20C. The contract was awarded to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., which was the highest-ranked proposer by the Competitive Selection Committee. The resolution authorizes the County Mayor or designee to execute the agreement, approve contingency expenditure limited to 10 percent of the base contract amount, and exercise all provisions.
