Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-608-26 (File Number 260928) on July 21, 2026, approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with EAC Consulting, Inc. as part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport, Contract No. E25AV01D, in a combined maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. The contract was recommended by the Aviation and Seaport Committee on June 8, 2026, and forwarded to the Board with a favorable recommendation. The work is assigned by MDAD on a rotational basis among five firms, with no minimum amount of work or compensation committed to any one firm. The scope includes routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, commissioning, quality assurance, progress reporting, and performance documentation for Capital Improvement Program projects at Miami International Airport. The contract is funded through various MIA subprograms and a Reserve Maintenance Fund. The contract manager is Sylvia Novela and the project manager is Richard Cabrera. The work authorized by this PSA will begin only after the Aviation Department issues a service order to EAC.
