Resolution ratifying Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. S-930B between Miami-Dade County and Daniel O'Connell's Sons, Inc. for construction of ST-2D-B South District Wastewater Treatment Plant (SDWWTP) Substations 5/6 and 15/16. The change order grants a 622-calendar day non-compensable time extension, with no additional fiscal impact. The delays were due to electrical equipment fabrication and delivery delays (415-calendar days) and low voltage wire pulls delay (207-calendar days) requiring shutdown of Headworks Building No. 1. The contract had an 11.85 percent Small Business Enterprise (SBE) - Construction goal and a one percent SBE - Goods goal. Resolution No. R-525-17 exempted non-compensatory time extensions from the SBE compliance requirement.
