Ordinance adopting non-ad valorem assessment rolls, rates, and assessments for the Solid Waste Collection Service Area of Miami-Dade County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2026-27, commencing October 1, 2026. The rates remain unchanged from Fiscal Year 2025-26, with a 0% increase. The typical full-service residential household assessment remains $702 annually. Assessments range from $178 for Trash and Recycling Centers access only to $702 for the highest service level. The ordinance was adopted on first reading on June 16, 2026, and adopted on final action on July 21, 2026. Service reductions are anticipated to be implemented on October 1, 2026, and are anticipated to have a measurable social equity burden, as all Service Area customers will be affected equally based on their level of service.
