Miami-Dade County Commission is considering an exchange agreement between Miami-Dade County and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). SFWMD will convey five fee simple parcels totaling 1.318 acres to the County. These parcels are identified in Resolution Nos. R-955-20, R-978-20, R-980-20, R-981-20, and R-984-20 and are required for County roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. In exchange, the County will convey a 3.889-acre tract of County-owned land to SFWMD. This tract is bounded by SW 26 Street (north), SW 28 Street (south), SW 173 Avenue (west), and SW 172 Court (east). The exchange is for parcels of equal value.
