Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a Resolution approving an exchange agreement between Miami-Dade County and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). The SFWMD will convey five fee simple parcels totaling 1.318 acres to the County. These parcels are required for County roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. In exchange, the County will convey a 3.889-acre tract of County-owned land to SFWMD. This tract is bounded by SW 26 Street (north), SW 28 Street (south), SW 173 Avenue (west), and SW 172 Court (east). The parcels to be conveyed to the County are identified in Resolution Nos. R-955-20, R-978-20, R-980-20, R-981-20, and R-984-20. The legislative item is supplemental information and is before the Board.
