Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a lease agreement for office space. Miami-Dade County will be the tenant and Three Super Sisters Corporation will be the landlord. The lease is for approximately 2,045 square feet at 12750 NW 17 Street, Unit 112, Sweetwater, Florida. The State of Florida Department of Health, Miami-Dade County Health Department (DOH) will be the assignee and utilize the space for administrative offices for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs. The lease term is three years with one three-year option to renew. No cost to Miami-Dade County, as DOH will cover all expenses. The total fiscal impact to the Assignee (DOH) for the initial year is $67,689.50, including base rent, CAM charges, and a lease management fee paid to the County. The County has the right to terminate the lease with 90 days' notice. The DOH plans to terminate its existing lease at 11865 SW 26 Street.
