Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a lease agreement for office space. The term is three years with one three-year option to renew. The county incurs no cost as the DOH will cover all expenses, including a lease management fee to the county. The DOH's total fiscal impact for the first year is $67,689.50, with base rent of $44,990.04 (approximately $22.00 per square foot), $20,450.00 in CAM charges, and a $2,249.50 lease management fee. The annual base rent increases by 4% annually. The county has the right to terminate the lease with 90 days' notice. This new lease replaces an existing one at 11865 SW 26 Street.
