Miami-Dade County approved a resolution authorizing a lease agreement with Three Super Sisters Corporation as landlord, and an assignment and assumption of lease agreement to the State of Florida Department of Health, Miami-Dade County Health Department, for office space at 12750 NW 17 Street, Unit 112, Sweetwater, Florida. The lease is for approximately 2,045 square feet of office space with eight parking spaces, for an initial term of three years plus one three-year option to renew, at no cost to the County. The space will be used by DOH as administrative offices for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. The resolution was amended and adopted on July 21, 2026, with Resolution Number R-618-26 assigned. The initial year fiscal impact to the Assignee is $67,689.50, including base rent of $44,990.04, CAM charges of $20,450.00, and a lease management fee of $2,249.50. The annual base rent increases by four percent annually. The current lease for the Assignee is at 11865 SW 26 Street (Coral Way) Unit J-2 and J-6, valid until December 31, 2028, with intent to terminate it. The property is in Commission District 12, represented by Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez. The Safety and Health Committee forwarded the item to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation on December 9, 2025.
