Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve and execute a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Trip and Equipment Grant Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (FCTD). The agreement is for an amount up to $8,000,000.00 in grant funding, with a 10 percent local matching fund of $888,889.00, bringing the total project cost to $8,888,889.00. The funds will be used by the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) to provide pre-loaded EASY Cards/Tickets for transportation disadvantaged recipients, supporting one trip, daily, weekly, monthly, or annual passes.
