Miami-Dade County is seeking approval for a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Trip and Equipment Grant Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (FCTD). The agreement, for Fiscal Year 2026-27, is for an amount up to $8,000,000.00 in grant funding, with a required 10 percent local match of $888,889.00, bringing the total project cost to $8,888,889.00. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will use these funds to provide pre-loaded EASY Cards/Tickets to transportation disadvantaged recipients, supporting various transit pass options.
