Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve and execute a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Trip and Equipment Grant Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. The grant amount is up to $8,000,000.00, with a required 10 percent local matching fund of $888,889.00. The total project cost is not to exceed $8,888,889.00. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will use these funds to provide pre-loaded EASY Cards/Tickets for transportation disadvantaged recipients, supporting one trip, daily, weekly, monthly, or annual passes. The agreement is for Fiscal Year 2026-27, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The item is on the consent agenda.
