VENEZUELA COUNTY EMPLOYEE LEAVE DONATIONS

Miami-Dade County is considering a resolution to allow county employees to donate the monetary value of their accrued holiday and annual leave to the County's Emergency Disaster Relief Fund. This fund would then be used to support relief efforts for the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The resolution directs the County Mayor or designee to facilitate these donations, publicize the process, select recipient organization(s) for the funds, and provide a report on the total amount donated within 30 days of the donation being made.
